A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FINAL PLAT OF "HAND'S CORNER",
LOCATED ADJACENT TO AND NORTHEAST OF SHERIDAN ROAD AND RICKEY
ROAD, BREMERTON, KITSAP COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, the City Council previously approved the preliminary plat of "Hand's Comer";
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 58.17 Gerard Vergeer, proponent for the proposed
subdivision, comprising .70 acres and located adjacent to and northeast of Sheridan Road and
Rickey Road and Rickey Road within the City of Bremerton, has made application for approval of a
final plat containing five lots; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this matter on June 15, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended to the Council that the Hand's
Comer Subdivision Final Plat be accepted having shown compliance with the approved design and
conditions of approval of the preliminary plat; and
WHEREAS, an environmental checklist has been prepared and considered by the
responsible official and a determination of nonsignificance issued; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Ci~, Council held public hearing on July 21, 1998, concerning
the final plat, and adopted the Findings, Conclusions and Recommendation enclosed in this packet.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Bremerton
does hereby find:
That there are adequate services to the site; and
That the plat conforms to RCW 58.17; and
That the necessary agency approvals have been obtained; and
The conditions of approval from the preliminary plat have been met.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city council does hereby approve the Final plat for the
"Hand's Comer" Subdivision on property described as follows:
TFIAT PORTION OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF
THE NORTHXVEST QUARTER, SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 24 NORTH, RANGE 1 EAST,
W._M. DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE SOUGHEAST QUARTER OF
THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 11, BEING THE TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING, THENCE N 00° 38'55" E 216.89 FEET, THENCE S 89 0 32'45" E 198 FEET,
THENCE S 00° 38'55" W 216.89 FEET, TttENCE N 89 0 32'45" W 198 FEET TO THE TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING,
SITUATE IN THE CI'IT OF BREMERTON, KITSAP COUNTY, WASHINGTON.
