A RESOLUTION reviewing charges for the abatement of the property at
2010 - 7th Street and determining means of collection.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton incurred costs for removal of garbage and debris on the property
located at 2010 - 7th Street; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Municipal Code, allows the City to recoup these costs by personal judgment
against the properly owner which if not collected within 30 days shall become a Hen against the property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is charged with determining whether the fees are just, and has considered
the report of charges filed by the Building Official and any protests or objection filed; and now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Bremerton:
1. That the abatement charges included in the report of the Building Official in the amount of $527.30
for the property located at 2010 - 7th Street, Bremerton, attached hereto, are just and reasonable.
2. That the City of Bremerton will exercise its fight to recapture abatement fees by filing a personal
judgemerit against the owner, Regina Painter, which if not collected within 30 days shall become a lien against
the property.
