HomeMy WebLinkAbout2635RESOLUTION NO. 2635 A RESOLUTION proposing the vacation of portions of Porter Street, Hartford Ave., Farragut St. and alleys within blocks 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14 and fifteen, all within the Plat of Port Orchard, and setting a hearing date for vacation. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL THAT: 1. The City hereby proposes the vacation of the following rights-of-way within the City by operation of law, one-half of each right-of way as originally platted to each abutting property: SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A" 2. A public hearing will be held on December 30, 1997 at 6:00 PM or later at the Bremerton City Hall, 239 Fourth Street, Bremerton, Washington to take public comment or consider written objections to the vacation. 3. If fifty percent or more of property owners abutting said right-of-way file written objections to this action prior to the time set for public hearing herein, the hearing shall be canceled and there shall be no further proceedings under this resolution.
