A RESOLUTION declaring an enlergency and
authorizing purchase of replacement parts
for sewer pump at Lift Station Number 25
WHEREAS, the pump capacity of Lift Station No. 25
is far below what is required to handle incoming flows; and
WHEREAS, with the addition of new housing which
shall soon be added on the flow of this station, with its
present pumping rate, will not keep up with the incoming flow;
and;
WHEREAS, the pumps in Lift Station No. 25 are Chicago
Pumps and the sole source of supply replacement parts is
William H. Reilly & Co., Portland, Oregon, and
WHEREAS, it is essential to the health, safety and
welfare of the public, that immediate action be taken;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Bremerton
hereby declares an emergency and authorizes the purchase of
replacement parts for each pump from William H. Reilly & Co.,
Portland, Oregon, totalling $2,965.16, plus freight and applicable
taxes.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of BremeNton,
signed by the Mayor and attesned by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 20th day of October 1981.
