A RESOLUTION authorizing departments of the City
of Bremerton to charge the maximum rate of interest allowed by
law on accounts receivable.
WHEREAS, the Washington State Legislature has increased
the maximum legal rate of interest, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens
of the City of Bremerton that the departments of the City be
authorized to charge the maximum rate of interest allowed by law.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BREMERTON as follows:
Section 1. The departments of the City of Bremerton
shall be authorized to charge the maximum rate of interest allowed
by law on accounts receivable.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 15 day of September, 1981.
