A RESOLUTION revising the rates of Equipment Rental Fund and
superseding the rates established by Resolution 1875.
WHEREAS, the hourly labor rate established by Resolution 1875
for the Equipment Rental Department is not sufficient to meet the needs of
the department and is unrealistic in relation to rates charged by commer-
cial garages in the area; and,
WHEREAS, it is desirable to regulate charges to conform to a
national norm; and,
WHEREAS, the rental rates established for equipment by Resolution
1875 are in need of adjustment to more accurately reflect the needs for
equipment replacement and for maintenance and operating costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the hourly rate of Equipment
Rental Department is $33.00 effective August 1, 1982,
FURTHER, that charges for shop labor will be calculated on "flat
rate" basis according to Motors Flat Rates Manual;
FURTHER, that the rental rates established in Resolution 1875 are
superseded by the rates set forth in the attached Schedules, effective
August 1, 1982,
FURTHER, that the monthly reserve and operation rate will apply
to Schedule A regardless of use. The hourly reserve and operation rate
will be used for inter-departmental billing of all equipment and will
apply to specialized equipment (Schedule B). Minimum charge for equipment
usage will be two hours.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Commissioners of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 27th day of July, 1982.
