A RESOLUTION setting the annual salaries
of the mayor and councilmembers of the
City Council of the City of Bremerton.
WHEREAS, Section 6 of the Charter of the City of
Bremerton states that the salaries of the Mayor and members of
the City Council shall be set by the City Commissioners;
BE IT RESOLVED that the salary of the Mayor of
Bremerton shall be Thirty Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($34,500.00) per year, together with an annual increase of seven
per cent (7%) or an annual increase equal to the Consumer Price
Index, whichever increase is less. The salaries for each member
of the Bremerton City Council shall be One Hundred Dollars
($100.00) per Council meeting attended by the council member, or
Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00) per year, whichever annual sum
is less.
ADOPTED BY the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentiation of such adoption this 6 day of July, 1982.
