A RESOLUTION establishing permit fees for
land use and zoning applications, sub-
division applications, environmental impact
assessment and shoreline permit apptications
WHEREAS, it is desirable to set application fees for
land use and zoning applications, environmental impact
assessment, subdivision applications ahd shoreline permit
applications by resolution of the City Council, now
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following rates
are hereby adopted for the above -stated permits:
Section 1. The application for proposed amendments or
modifications to the official zoning map of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Bremerton, shall be accompanied by
an application fee of $300.00 plus $50.00 for each full
20,000 square feet of lot area, not to exceed a maximum fee
of $850.00.
Section 2. The application for revision of a rezone
previously approved by the City Council shall be accompanied
by an application fee of $150.00.
Section 3. The application for a special Use or
Conditional Use permit shall be accompanied by an applica-
tion fee of $185.00 plus $20.00 for each full 20,000
feet of lot area, not to exceed a maximum fee of $325.00.
When such an application is submiti:ed to the Planning
Department, in combination with another permit application
requiring hiqher fee, the Special Use or Conditional Use
permit application fee, shall be $50.00.
Section 4. The application for an Administrative
Variance shall be accompanied by an application fee of
$50.00, except if the application is for a fence height
variance, the fee shall be $10.00.
SectNsn 5. The application for a variance which
requires a Planning Commission hearing shall be accompanied

by an applica%ion fee of $125.00. When such an application
is submitted io the Planning Department in combination with
another permitt application requiring a higher fee, the
variance fee shall be $50.00.
Section 6. The application for a short plat or
short subdvision, requiring administrative approval, shall
bc accompanied by an application fee of $40.00 per lot.
Section 7. The application for a preliminary plat
for land subdivision as provided in Chapter 58 .17, R.C.W.
shall be accompanied by an application fee of $300.00 plus
$10.00 per lot for subdivisions in excess of 10 Lots.
Section 8. The application for a final plat for land
subdivision as provided in Chapter 58.17 R.C.W., shall be
accompanied bI· an application fee of $100.00.
Ssction 9. The filing fee for a street or alley
vacation shall be $125.00 plus $75.00 for each
2,500 square feet of area requested for vacation, such
not to exceed a maximum fee of $425.00. When such a
petition is flied with the City Treasurer contemporously
with filing of an application with the Planning Department
for a permit, relating to use of the land proposed for vaca--
tion; and the fee required for such permit exceeds the filing
fee for the' vacation petition, the filing fee for the vacation
petition shall be $50.00. The City Council may at its
discretion require compensation to be paid to the City for any
right-of-way vacated in accordance with R.C.W. 35.79.030.

Section 10. The Notice of Appeal filed with the
Planning Conmission from an administrative ruling on the
application or interpretation of the Bremerton Zoning Ordinance
shall be accompanied by a fee of $30.00.
Section 11. The Notice of Appeal filed wilh City
Council from a ruling of the Planning Commission shall
be accompanied by a fee of $50.00.
Section 12. The filing fee for each environmental
assessment to be performed by the City of Bremerton when
tile City is the lead agency, shall be $50.00.
Section 13. The application for a Shreline Substantial
Redvelopment permit shall be accompanied by an application
fee of $200.00 plus $50.00 for each full 20,000 square
ef lot area, not to exceed a maximum fee of $4(0.00.
such an application is submitted to the Planning Department,
in combination with any other permit application requiring
a higher fee, the Shoreline Substantial Development permit
fee shall be $50.00.
Section 14. The application for a Shoreline Conditional
Use permit or Shoreline VariancePermit shall be accompanied
by an application fee of $175.00 plus $20.00 for each full
20,000 square feet of lot area, not to exceed a maximum
fee of $355.00. When such an application is submitted to
the Planning Departmentt, in combination with another permit
application requiring a higher fee, the Shoreline
Conditional Use permit or Shoreline Variance permit fee shall
be $50.00.
Section 15. The application for a Shoreline Permit
Revision or Nxtension shall be accompanied by an application
fee of $100.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Commissions of the
City of Bremerton, Washington signed by the Mayor and attested
to by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 30th day of March, 1982.
