WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1808 is hereby rescinded;
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban De-
velopment has made a grant to ttne City of Bremerton foR
water system improvements under Grant No. D76 DN 530065,
a Community Block Grant No. B80 DN 530012 and B81 DN 530034
and Trident Impact Fire Station Grant NO.B 80 DN 530033.
WHEREAS, funds from these grants will be furnished
by a U. S. Treasury Department letter of credit as speci-
fied in HUD Handbook 1900.23 dated November 1976; and
WHEREAS, the HUD Handbook requires that all re-
quests for funds be signed by two authorized individuals
and the filing of specimen signature cards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that any two of
the following are lnereby authorized and designated to
sign the requests for funds in connection with these
pro jects:
GENE NELSON, Mayor
ROBERT B. STEWART, Commissioner
LEO E. OLNEY, City Treasurer
and the City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare and submit
tile necessary specimen signature cards as required.
ADOPTED by the City Commissioners of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage this 30th day of
