A RESOLUTION declaring that an
emergency existed; and autherizing
the purchase of salt for snow and
ice control.
WHEREAS, the current weather conditions have de-
pleted the City's supply of salt for snow and ice control.
WHEREAS, Western Farmers Association had the
immediate supplies necessary;
WHEREAS, it is essential to the health, safety and
welfare of the public that immediate action be taken;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of
Bremerton, cleclares an emergency existed and authorized the
purchase of rock salt from Western Farmers Association, for a
total cost of $3,731.40, for snow and ice control.
PASSlED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authenti-
cation of such passage this 12th of January 1982.
