A RESOLUTION revising the rates and distri-
bution thereof for use of equipment in the
Equipment Rental Fund, effective January 1,
1980: superseding Resolution 1821.
WHEREAS the distributions of rates established for Equipment
Rental Fund equipment by Resolution 1821 are in need of adjustment to
more accurately reflect the needs for equipment replacement and for
maintenance and operating costs:
AND, WHEREAS there is now available in the Equipment Rental
Pool safety equipment for trench and/or manhole construction, which
carries a daily rental rate:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that resolution 1821 is hereby
superseded and that attached Schedule A establishes the rates, and the
distribution of rates for equipment:
FURTHER, that the monthly reserve and operation rate will apply
to Items 1 through 9 regardless of use. The hourly reserve and operation
rate will be used for inter-departmental billing of all equipment and
will apply to specialized equipment (Items 10 through 26) untjl such item
is used more than 50 hours in any month, at which time the monthly rate
will apply. Minimum charge for equipment usage will. be two hours.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Commissioners of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in
authenticatjon of such passage this 2nd day of January, 1980.
