A RESOLUTION to Require Defensive
Driving Training for City Employees
WHEREAS, the City established by Resolution No. 1676, on February
4, 1976, an Accident Review Board and Safety Committee; and,
WHEREAS, proper driver training will contribute to the reduction
of vehicle accidents;
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THAT:
All City employees who may drive City vehicles be required to
participate in Defensive Driving Instruction based on the program available
through the Evergreen Safety Council.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this
23rd day of December, 1980.
