A RESOLUTION relating to the release of information
by the Data Processing Department, City of
Bremerton
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to set a policy
regarding release of information by the Data Processing Depart-
ment of the City of Bremerton
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
That information submitted by departments and custo-
mers using the Data Processing Department in the City of Bremerton
shall not release to any other department or customer not
having originated such information; Except on receipt of a release,
signed by the head of the department originating the information,
authorizing release of the informatiom to another department
or customer.
The Data Processing Department head is hereby directed
to prepare administrative guidelines for impementation of the
above policy.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor snd attested by the City Clerk in authenti-
cation of such passage this 5th day of August, 1980.
