RESOLUTION No. 1864
A RESOLUTION relating to use of Chester Avenue and
Fifteenth Street. (Olympic College).
WHEREAS, The City of Bremerton and the State Board
of Community Colleges have entered into a Letter of Understanding
dated January 16, 1980, and
WHEREAS, Construction on the by-pass on Broadway
Avenue has not commenced as yet, and
WHEREAS, The current use and control of Chester
Avenue and Fifteenth Streets should be continued until July
1, 1982 or the prior opening of the by-pass on Broadway Avenue,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
BREMERTON:
That Chester Avenue and Fifteenth Street shall con-
tinue to be closed between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:30
p.m. each week day and will open to vehicular traffic at all
other times until July 1, 1982 or the opening of the by-pass
on Broadway Avenue, whichever shall occur first.
PASSED by the City Council of Bremerton, signed by
the Mayor and attested b the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 8th day of July, 1980.
