RESOLUTION NO. 1858
A RESOLUTION designating authorized
individuals to sign requests for funds
in connection with Water System Improve-
ments and Community Block Grant Projects,
and rescinding Resolution No. 1808.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1808 is hereby rescinded; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
has made a grant to the City of Bremerton for Water System Improve-
ments under Grant Number D76 DN 530065 and a Community Block Grant
Number B78 DN 530012; and,
WHEREAS, funds from these grants will be furnished by a
U.S. Treasury Department letter of credit as specified in HUD Hand-
book 1900.23 dated November 1976; and,
WHEREAS, the HUD Handbook requires that all requests for
funds be signed by two authorized individuals and the filing of
speciman signature cards;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that any two of the following
are hereby authorized and designated to sign the requests for funds
in conuection with these projects:
GLENN K. JARSTAD, Mayor
and the City Clerk is hereby directed to prepare and submit the
necessary speciman signature cards as required.
ADOPTED by the City Commissioners of the City of Bremerton
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 20th day of May, 1980.
