RESOLUTION NO. 1857
A RESOLUTION revising the Affirmative Action
Plan of the City of Bremerton.
WHEREAS, The City of Bremerton is committed to promoting
and protecting the rights and opportunities for equal employ-
ment opportunity to all citizens without regard to race, color,
religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, or sensory
mental or physical handicap unless such factors constitute a
bona fide occupational qualification; and,
WHEREAS, The Affirmative Action Plan necessitates revision
and the addition of new sections to facilitate the development
of the plan;
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
in regular session approved the Affirmative Action Plan on July,
1978, which is hereby revised and adopted in its entirety.
PASSED AND ARROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage this 13th day of May,
1980.
