A RESOLUTION designating the Chief of Police as
the custodian of the Special Investigative Unit
fund of the police department for the City of
Bremerton.
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Police Department has a petty
cash fund which is designated as the Special Investigative Unit
cash fund for the police department; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the policies and ordinances of
the City of Bremerton require that a custodian of said fund be
designated by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the Chief of Police is the
appropriate responsible designee to be custodian of this fund,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of the
Bremerton Police Department, Duane Christensen, is hereby
designated as the custodian of the Special Investigative Unit
fund; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this petty cash fund shall
not exceed $5,000.00 at any given time, and that the total annual
expenditures for this fund will not exceed the approved budget
amount for this fund unless prior approval of the Council is
obtained.
