A RESOLUTION regarding exploration of innovative
financing methods for sewerage improvements.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton intends to construct extensive improvements
to its sewerage system; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to secure the most cost effective method of
financing the construction; and
WHEREAS, CH2M-HILL, a professional engineering coorporation, has experience
with some innovative financing methods,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City authorize CH2M-HILL to
investigate possible innovative financing methods for their construction, providing
that the costs of the investigation are not charged to the City and that the City
does not, without further action, become obligated to pursue any particular financing
strategy.
