A RESOLUTION setting forth amendments to
Article VII, § 30 for submission to the the
qualified voters of the City for approval and
ratification or rejection at the general
election to be on November 8, 1983.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BREMERTON at its regular session that at a public election to be
held on the 8th day of November, 1983, there shall be submitted
to the qualified voters of the City for approval and ratification
or rejection amendments to the Charter of the City of Bremerton
as set forth in the following proposition:
ARTICLE VII, OFFICE OF CITY CLERK
SECTION 30 City Clerk:
The Mayor shall be charged with the administration of the office
of City Clerk. The Clerk shall perform the duties required by
this Charter, state law, and by ordinance; keep a record of the
proceedings of the Council, and of every matter and thing before,
presented to, or acted upon by the Council; certify all accounts
ordered paid as herein provided; be custodian of the official
seal of the City and affix the same to all documents when
