A RESOLUTION amending the Transit
Transfer Agreement between the City of
Bremerton and Kitsap Transit, Resolution
83-98.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton and Kitsap Transit have
entered into a Transit Transfer Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Section 5 of the aforementioned Agreement
authorized the transfer from the City of Bremerton to Kitsap
Transit of any interests of the Uo S. Government granted under
Urban Mass Transportation Administration Capital Grant
(hereinafter referred to as U.M.T.A.) No. WA-03-0044; add
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton also received UMTA
Capital Grant No. WA-03-0011 with which it procured property and
equipment to operate the bus system in Bremerton; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Bremerton to amend the Transit Transfer Agreement to include the
transfer from the City of Bremerton to Kitsap Transit any
interests of the U. S. Government granted under UMTA Capital
Grant No. WA-03-0011 so that the bus system transfer will be
complete;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Bremerton that the Transit Transfer Agreement be
amended to authorize the transfer from the City of Bremerton to
Kitsap Transit of any and all interests of the U. S. Government
granted under UMTA Capital Grant No. WA-03-0011.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 18 day of January,
1984.
