A RESOLUTION repealing Resolution #2024,
designating a residential parking permit area
(Zone #51)
WHEREAS, a verified petition of at least 2/3 of the residents
of designated zone #51 had been filed with the City, and;
WHEREAS, the City Egineer had recomended that Zone #51 be desig-
nated as a residential parking permit area in accordance with procedures
established by Ordinance No. 3437 and Ordinance No. 3465; and,
WHEREAS, on June 11, 1984, three (3) residents of of the area pre-
sented a signed petition requesting that the Residential Permit Parking Zone #51
be rescinded; and,
WHEREAS, three (3) of the original petitioners for the
Permit Parking Zone have signed the petition to rescind, which constitutes
100% of the petitioners for the original request for a Permit Parking Zone,
cmd there are no remaining petitioners which constitute 2/3 rds of the
residents of the area as required by Ordinance #3437;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
The following zone be rescinded as a residential parking permit
area: Hewitt Avenue, E. side from 6th to 7th Street
Zone: #51
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by
the Mayor and attested to by the Cizy Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 20 day of June, 1984.
