HomeMy WebLinkAbout2114FA No. F-160( ) & F-016( ) Project No. 31006F RESOLUTZON NO. 2114 RESOLUTION by The City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington; WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton is the record owner of the following described real estate; All that portion of the following described Parcel "A" lying Northwesterly of a line drawn parallel with and 80 feet Southeasterly of the survey line of SR 160 and SR 16, Port Orchard to Tidewater Creek. PARCEL "A": That portion of Government Lot 4, Section 33, Township 24 North, Range i East, W.M., lying South of the South line of State Route No. 16 (formerly State Highway No. 14); Situate in Kitsap County, Washington. WHEREAS, in the improvement of SR 160 and SR 16, Port Orchard to Tidewater Creek by the State of Washington, Department of Transportation, it is necessary and advisable for the State of Washington to acquire title to said lands; and WHEREAS, after due consideration by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, it appears to the said Council that it will be for the best interests of both the City of Bremerton and the State of Washington that the City of Bremerton convey said lands to the State of Washington by Quit Claim Deed for a consideration of TWO THOUSAND and NO/lOO---($2,0OO.OO)--- Dollars, and upon the conditions stated in said Deed; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of Bremerton, Washington in accordance with RCW 47.12040 and through its Mayor to execute and deliver said Deed to the State of Washington, Department of Transportation.
