A RESOLUTION authorizing Investment of the
City of Bremerton Monies in the Local Govern-
ment Investment Pool.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 294, Laws of 1986, a Local Govern-
ment Investment Pool in the State Treasury was created for the deposit of
money of a political subdivision for purposes of investment by the State
Treasurer; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton does hereby find that the deposit
and withdrawal of money in the Local Government Investment Pool in accor-
dance with the provisions of this chapter for the purposes of investment as
stated therein are in the best interests of the City of Bremerton; and,
WHEREAS, we attest by our signatures that we have been duly
authorized and endpowered to enter into this agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Bremerton does hereby authorize the deposit and withdrawal of City
of Bremerton monies in the Local Coverrrnent Investment Pool in the State
Treasury in accordance with this chapter for the purpose of investment as
stated therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to the attached form the
following City of Bremerton Officers shall be authorized to order the
deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Government Investment Pool:
Richard E. Hanna, City Treasurer
Catherine A. Johnson, Assistant City Treasurer
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
State of Washington on the 2nd day of July, 1986.
