A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BREMERTON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND MAP
TO INCLUDE THE CENTRAL BREMERTON PARKING OVERLAY.
WHEREAS, a proper public hearing was held by the Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton City Council has examined and hereby
adopts the Findings and Conclusions of the Bremerton Planning
Commission, dated February 19th, 1987; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL:
I. The land use element of the Comprehensive Plan is hereby
amended by adding the following: "Parking Overlay Areas: This
classification identifies lands that are suited for P.S.N.S.
parking, as well as central business district public parking, in
addition to the other land use classifications for which these
areas are designated."
II. The Comprehensive Plan Map is amended with a "Parking
Overlay" classification for the area Chester to Warren between
P.S.N.S. and 6th Street; Park to Warren between 6th and 10th
Street; FarraGut to 1st Street between P.S.N.S. and Wycoff
Street; said area further described by the amending map attached
hereto as Exhibit "A".
PASSED by the City Council this 24th day of February
1987.
