RESOLUTION NO. 2171
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF BREMERTON:
AMENDING THE BREMERTON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP IN
THE BLOCK BOUNDED BY SIXTH STREET, NAVAL AVENUE,
SEVENTH STREET AND ROOSEVELT AVENUE.
WHEREAS, applicant Dave Hill, represented by the firm of Pazookl and
McMenamin, submitted an app]ication requesting an amendment of the
Bremerton Comprehensive Plan to change the designation of specific
properties from RESIDENTIAL to COMMERCIAL; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Planning Commission conducted a public hearing
on May 19, 1987, for the purpose of accepting public testimony regarding
this request; and
WHEREAS, following its public hearing, the Planning Commission recommended
the City Council's approval of a Plan Map amendment to include all of the
southern portion of the subject block in the COMMERCIAL designation while
leaving the northern half of that block in the RESIDENTIAL designation; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton City Council has examined and hereby adopts the
Findings and Conclusions of the Planning Commission, dated June , 1987;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Bremerton City Council hereby
amends the Bremerton Comprehensive P]an in accordance with the Findings,
Conclusions, and Recommendation of the Planning Commission.
