RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO ADOPT
A RESOLUTION OF NOTICE OF INTENT OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON,
WASHINGTON, TO ADOPT AMENDDMENTS TO THE CITY SHORELINE MASTER
PROGRAM WHICH PROMULGATES SHORELINE MANAGEMENT POLICIES AND
USE REGULATIONNNS CONSISTENT WITH THE STATE OF WASHINGTON
SHORELINE MANAGEMENT ACT OF 1971 AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton approved a Shoreline Master
Program by Resolution No. 1736, dated OCTOBER 5, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the' City of Bremerton received a grant from the State of
Washington Department of Ecology and appropriated Federal
Community Development Block Grant funds to update its approved
shoreline master program; and
WHEREAS, the State of Washington must approve any amendments to
the approved shoreline master program; and
WHEREAS, the requirements (WAC 173-19) for amending shoreline
master programs have been met by the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1- .The shoreline master program amendments shall be sent
to the State of Washington Department of Ecology for review and
approval per WAC 173-19-062 and 064.
Section 2. Upon completion of that approval, the City Council
shall act upon the shoreline master program amendments as
approved by the State of Washington Department of Ecology.
