WHEREAS, Clyde Pachek has been a resident and good citizen
of the City of Bremerton for many years;
WHEREAS, Clyde Pachek was the first elected Councilman from
Council District #5;
WHEREAS, Councilman Pachek was appointed as a member of the
City Council Wastewater Committee, served on that
Committee for 33 months and assisted in providing
oversight throughout the construction and start up
phase of Bremerton's Secondary Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, Clyde was and continues to be a very community
minded citizen of Bremerton having served not
only on the City Council and its various committees
but continues to contribute through volunteer work
with the Lions Club, St. Vincent de Paul, Peace
Lutheran Church and helping needy seniors;
WHEREAS, unfortunately Clyde currently finds himself in not
the best of health;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City council wishes
to publicly acknowledge and thank former Councilman Clyde
Pachek for his past contribution to City government and
current contributions to the Bremerton community.
COUNCIL FURTHER RESOLVES to wish CLYDE PACHEK the best and
extends the power vested in this body directs that he
have a rapid, and speedy recovery.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
