A RESOLUTION authorizing the payment of claims
and other obligations of the City by check.
WHEREAS, the City is authorized by statute to pay its claims
and other obligations by check; and
WHEREAS, the technical needs of the City in its finance and
accounting functions would be better served by this method of
payment; and
WHEREAS, the impending change in computers and programs used
in the City's accounting make changing payment methods desirable
at this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT; that the City of
Bremerton does hereby adopt a policy of paying claims and other
obligations of the City by check.
ADOPTED by the by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this
9th day of August, 1989.
