A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL PLAT OF GEHRING/MILO
WHEREAS, Dean Gehring and Gene Milo, proponents for the
proposed subdivisi6n, comprising 0.43 acres and located adjacent
to and west of Maple Avenue approximately 125 feet north of Ivy
Road situated in Section 1, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
within the City of Bremerton, has made application for the approval
of a final plat containing three lots; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing
concerning the preliminary plat on April 28, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended to the Council
that the Gehring/Milo preliminary plat be accepted subject to
restrictions; and
WHEREAS, an environmental checklist had been prepared and
considered by the responsible official and a determination of
environmental non-significance issued; and
WHEREAS, the Bremerton City Council held a public hearing on
May 13, 1987 concerning the above preliminary plat, and adopted
the findings of the Planning Commission except that the City
Council found that the Surface Water Management Plan recommended
by the Planning Commission be implemented prior to plat approval,
and
WHEREAS, the Surface Water Management Plan has been reviewed
and approved by the City Engineer, and
WHEREAS, the Surface Water Management Plan implementation has
been secured by posting of a bond and therefore all provisions of
the preliminary plat have been met, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BREMERTON CITY COUNCIL:
That the Gehring/Milo final plat (Plat of Gehring's Addition)
presented for approval and filing, is hereby accepted, approved,
and ordered filed. Property in the city limits of Bremerton
included in this Plat, is described as follows:
The East 100 feet of the following described tract:
That portion of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter
of Section 1, Township 24 north, Range 1 east, W.M., described
as follows:
Beginning at a point which is N 03° 51' 40" E, a distance of
124.61 feet and S 88° 32' 57" E, a distance of 30.02 feet from
the southwest corner of said southwest quarter of the
northwest quarter; thence continue S 880 32' 57" E, a distance
of 624.36 feet; thence N 03° 32' 28" E, a distance of 189.14
feet; thence N. 88~ 32' 57" W, a distance of 623.31 feet;
thence S 03° 51' 40" W, a distance of 189.14 feet to the point
of beginning. Except that portion condemned for Wheaton Way
widening in Kitsap County Superior Court Case No. 79-2-01235-
3. Situate in the City of Bremerton, Kitsap County,
Washington.
PASSED by the City Council this 15th day of
November, 1989.
