solid waste within Kitsap County is a growing problem; and
WHEREAS, the formation of a long-range plan
for the elimination of these wastes is vital to the
interests of all citizens of the county; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has joined
with the County and other cities and towns within the
County to cause a study of said wastes to be made,
and a long-range plan for the management of said wastes
to be formulated; and
WHEREAS, Kitsap County, in cooperation with
the City of Bremerton and other cities and towns within
the County, has now completed the plan for solid waste
management;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
of Bremerton concurs with the solid waste management plan
as formulated by the County.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such adoption this .~.~/~ day
