RESOLUTION BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON, COUNTY OF KITSAP, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton, its the record owner of Lots 21 through 38, in-
clusive, Block 16, Plat of Navy Yard City as per plat recorded in Volume 3 of Plats
on page 75, together with that portions of vacated "A" Street and vacated Sperry Street
and vacated alley adjoining that would attach by operation of law.
ALSO, Lots 1 through 40, inclusive, Block 17, Plat of Navy Yard City as per plat
recorded in Volume 3 of Plats on page 75, together with these portions of vacated
Sperry Street, Nebraska Street, '~" Street/and vacated alley adjoining that would
attach by operation of law.
EXCEPT: That portion of Section 22, Township 24 North, Range 1 East W.M., being a
portion of Lot 21, Block 17, and of the vacated Nebraska Street and vacated '~"
Street, Plat of Navy Yard City, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Section corner common to 'Sections 21, 22, 27 and 28, in Township 24
North, Range 1 East W.M.; thence South 89°29'10" East, along the Section line common
to Sections 22. and 27, a distance of 277.69 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
North 18°23'20'' East 47.86 feet; thence South 71°36'40'' East 133.90 feet; thence Souuh
18023'20'' West 4.69 feet to the Section line common to Sections 22 and 27; thence North
89°29'10'' West 140.84 feet, along said Section line, to the true point of beginning;
ALSO, Lots 8 through 12; 16 through 19; 22 through 26; Block 20, Plat of Navy Yard City
as per plat recorded in Volume 3 of Plats on Page 75, together with those portions of
vacated "A" Street, Nebraska Street, and vacated alley adjoining that would attach by
operation of law.
Situate in Kitsap County, Washington.
WHEKEAS, in the improvement of SR 3, MP 35.84 to MP 36.76, Sinclair Inlet to
Arsenal Way, by the State of Washington, Department of Highways, it is aecessary and
advisable for the State of Washington to acquire title to;
Ail that portion of the following described Parcel "A" lying Easterly of the following
described line: Beginning at a point opposite Highway Engineer's Station C1 6+61.52
and 60 feet Northwesterly therefrom, when measured at right angles and/or radially to
the C1 line of SR 3, MP 35.84 roMP 36.76, Sinclair Inlet to Arsenal Way; thence North-
easterly parallel to said C1 line to a point oppos~e Highway Engineer's Station C1
5+00; thence Northerly to a point opposite Highway Engineer's Station C1 3+00 and 120
feet Westerly therefrom; thence Northerly parallel to said C1 line to a point opposite
Highway Engineer's Station C1 0+00.00 P.O.; thence Northerly to a point opposite
Highway Engineer's Station 73+00 and 130 feet Westerly therefrom when measured at right
angles and/or radially from the SR 3 center line and the end of this line description.

Lots 21 through 38, inclusive, Block 16, Plat of Navy Yard City as
per plat recorded in Volume 3 of Plats on page 75, together with
that portion of vacated '~" Street and vacated Sperry Street and
vacated alley adjoining that would attach by operation of law.
Lots 1 through 40~ inclusive, Block 17, Plat of Navy Yard City ~
per plat recorded in Volume 3 of Plats on page 75, together with
these p~tions of vacated Sperry Street, Nebraska Street, '~" Street
and vacated alley adjoining that would attach by operation of law.
EXCEPT: That portion of Section 22, Township 24 North, Range 1
East W.M., being a portion of Lot 21, Block 17, and of the vacated
Nebraska Street and vacated "A" Street, Plat of Navy Yard City,
more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Section
corner co,non to Sections 21, 22, 27, and 28 in Township 24 North,

Range 1 East W.M.; thence South 89°29'10'' East, along the Section
line common to Sections 22 and 27, a distance of 277.69 feet to the
true point of beginning; thence North 18o23'20,, East 47.86 feet;
thence South 71~36'40" East 133.90 feet; thence South 18o23'20"
West 4.69 feet to the Sectionline common to Sections 22 and 27;
thence North 89°29'10'' West 140.84 feet along said Section line,
to the true point of beginning;
Lots 8 through 12; 16 through 19; 22 through 26; Block 20, Plat
of Navy Yard City as per plat recorded in Volume 3 of Plats on
Page 75; together with those portions of vacated '~" Street,
Nebraska Street, and vacated alley adjoining that would attach
by operation of law.
Situate in Kttsap County, Washington.
Also the rights of ingress and egress (including all existing, future or potential
easements of access, light, view and air) to, from and between said SR 3, Sinclair
Inlet to Arsenal Way; and the remainder of the said Parcel A, EXCEPT that the grantors
reserve unto themselves, their heirs, and/or assigns reasonable access to the TC2
line and TC3 line of said Highway until such time as a permanent access road is con-
structed to the remainder of Parcel A.
The lands herein described contain an area of 104,259 square feet, more or less, the
specific details concerning all of which are to be found within that certain map of
definite location now of record and on file in the office of the Director of Highways
at Olympia and. bearing date of approval 6/26/69, revised 9/24/70, the center line
of which is also shown of record in Volume A of Highway Plats, page 53, records of said
county.
WHEREAS, after due consideration by the Council of the City of Bremerton, it appears
to said Council that it will be in the best interest of both the City of Bremerton and
the State of Washington that said Council convey said lands to the State of Washington
by Quit Claim Deed, for a consideration of benefits to be hereinafter derived.
NOW THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved by the Council of the City of Bremerton,
that the City of Bremerton, in accordance with R.C.W. 47.12.040 and through its Council,
execute said deed, and deliver said deed, to the State of Washington, Department of
Highways.
