A resolution of the City of Bremerton,
Washington amending Resolution No. 1499.
WHEREAS, the proposed dog control ordinance ballot
title as set out on page 2 of Resolution No. 1499 was longer
than legally authorized under state code,
NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved by the Council of
the City of Bremerton, that said ballot title be amended
and stated as follows:
CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTON
DOG CONTROL ORDINANCE
Shall the City of Bremerton adopt Initiative
Measure #4, known as "Curb and Leash Law for Bremerton,"
declaring certain dogs to be public nuisances and providing
for impounding and possible destruction of such dogs,
providing that any dog away from the premises of its owner
must be leashed, curbed and under the control of its owner
or custodian; providing criminal penalties for persons
violating this ordinance.

signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
