WHEREAS, the City has been offered a grant of
$136,420.00 by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency for
this project designated WPC-WN-375, and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to accept this grant
offer, and
WHEREAS, the City intends to complete early in
1972 a detailed study of sewage collection and treatment needs
which must be approved by Washington State and the Federal
Government, and
WHEREAS, the City intends to provide secondary
sewage treatment (or whatever lesser degree of treatment is
determined suitable by the above mentioned detailed study) on
the most expeditious schedule;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
BREMERTON:
That the City of Bremerton accepts the grant offer
of $136,420.00 on the condition that payments will be made in
the normal manner as constr~ction proceeds.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authenti-
