WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton intends to~~-that portion
of Kitsap Way described as follows:
That portion of Lots 26 and 27, Block 1, Brentwood Park,
Section 16, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M.,
Kitsap County, Washington, according to the recorded
plat thereof, described as follows:
Beginning at the West quarter corner of said Section 16;
thence N 2°50'55'' E, along the Westerly margin thereof,
1068.01 feet; thence East 1282.32 feet to a point on the
North margin of said Lot 26, which point is the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing East along said
North margin, 31.17 feet; thence S 15°45'00'' E, parallel
with the existing centerline of the Bremerton-Kitsap Lake
Highway, 352.37 feet; thence on a curve to the left, the
center of which bears N 74°15'00'' E 7734.21 feet, an arc
distance of 20.00 feet; thence S 74°06'07'' W 20.00 feet;
thence on a curve to the left, the center of which bears
N 74006'07'' E 7754.21 feet, an arc distance of 82.56 feet;
thence West, along the South margin of said Lot 27, 10.34
feet; thence on a curve to the right, the center of which
bears N 73°30'32'' E 7764.21 feet, an arc distance of
100.43 feet; thence N 15°45'00'' W 360.83 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING.
WHEREAS, City Ordinance No. 2334 requires that a hearing on
petition to vacate portions of City property shall be held by the City
Council on a date set by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
not more than sixty days (60) nor less than twenty days (20) after the
date of adoption of said resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
That the City Council of the City of Bremerton shall hold a
hearing on the resolution to vacate the above described property and
that said hearing shall be held before the City Council of the City of
Bremerton on the~'~ day of December, 1970, at .i~Y~ o'clock~M. at
the Council Chambers in City~Hall, Bremerton, Washington; and it is
further
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton that
the City Clerk shall post notice for twenty (20) days of the filing
and hearing of said petition to vacate, said notice to be posted on the
above described property and in three (3) conspicuous public places.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
