A RESOLUTION setting date of public hearing on
applieation'for taxicab license and providing for
publishing of notice thereof.
WHEREAS, Merlin E. Walker'has applied under the provisions
of Ordinance No. 2888 for the issuance of a taxicab license and
atteRdant taxi stand; and
WHEREAS, Section 5 (i) of Ordinance No. 2888 provides that
a public hearing shall be held before the' City Council of the City of
B~emerton on the determination as to whether or not such license
should be granted and that'the notice of the same be published in a
newspaper of general circulation within the City of Bremerton.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BREMERTON:
That the City Council of the City of Bremerton shall hold
a public' hearing on the application of Merlin E. Walker for a taxicab
license and attendant taxicab stand and that said hearing shall be
held before the City .Council of the City of Bremerton on the day
of OctOber, 1970, at :~:00 o'clock ~M. at the Council Chambers in
the City Hall, Bremerton, Washington~ and that the City Clerk of the
City of Bnemerton is directed to publish notice of the proposed public
hearing in a newspaper of general ~circulation within the City of
B~emerton.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the ~ayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
