A RESOLUTION declaring certain property owned by the
City of Bremerton to be surplus and of no further use
for City purposes, directing appraisal of the
property and directing the negotiated sale thereof.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton is the owner of the following
described property: -
~t portion of the west half of the west' quarter of the
sO~hmast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 21,
Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M., in Kitsap County,
Washi~on, described'as f°llows: Beginning at the
northwest corner of the southBast quarter of the north-
east quarter of said Section 21; thence south 0034'22''
west 17.68 feet; thence south 14°32'12'' east 325.35 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence south 14°32'12''
east 310.55 feet, more or less, to the north line of
Werner Road; thence east along said north line of Werner
Road to the east line of the west half of the west
quarter of said southeast quarter of the northeast
quarter; thence north along said east line of said west
half of the west quarter of said southeast quarter of the
northeast quarter a distance of 302.95 feet, mope or less,
to a point north 89°47'14'' east from the true point of
beginning; thence south 89°47'14'' west 81.49 feet, more
or less, to the true point of beginning.
and
WHEREAS, the above described property is of no further use
to the City of Bremerton and has not been dedicated by the City for
any specific use in the future; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City that s~h~_ro~e_~r~y ....
be declared surplus and appraised for value and that the sam
at a negotiated sale; now, therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
1. That the following described property is hereby
declared surplus to the needs of the City of Bremarton and that the
same has not been dedicated for any future public purpose:

southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 21,

Wash~agton, described as follows: Beginning at the
nomthwest co~nem of the southeast quamtem of the north-
east quarter of said Section 21; thence south 0o34'22''
west 17.68 feet; thence south 14°~2'12'' east ~25.25 feet
to the true point of beginning; thence south 14°82'12''
east 310.55 feet, more or less, to the north line of
Werner Road; thence east along said north line of Werner
Road to the east line of the west half of the west
quarter of said southeast quarter of the northeast
quarter; thence north along said east line of said west
half of the west quarter of said southeast quarter of the
northeast quarter a distance of 302.95 feet, more or less,
to a point north 89°47'14'' east from the true point of
beginning; thence south 89°47'14'' west 81.49 feet, more
or less, to the true point of beginning.
2. That Mr. E. Jennings Beard, a competent appraiser of
land, be engaged for the purpose of making an appraisal of the above
described property and reporting the same to the City Council.
3. That upon recmipt of the appraisal o~t~e property,
the same be sold by negotiation'~t a'p~ibe not less than the appraisal
price established.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton this
/~ ~day of~/~~ !970, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such adoption.
