A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION WITH THE PUBLIC HEALTtl SERVICE
FOR A GRANT UNDER THE FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT.
WHEREAS, under the terms of the above mentioned acts, as amended, the United States
of America has authorized the making of grants to public bodies to aid in khe financing
of the construction of specific public projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, be id resolved by the City Commissioners:
1. That Mayor Glenn K. Jarstad is hereby authorized to execute and file an application
and related documents on behalf of the City of Bremerton with'the Public Health Service through
its local representative in these matters, the Washington State Pollution Control Commission
for a grant to aid in the financing of the construction of the Proposed Modifications to the Existing
Sewage Treatment Plants.
2. That Mayor Glenn K. Jarstad is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information
as is reasonably required by the interested loca~ state and federal authorities in connection with
this application.
