RESOLUTION BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON
COUNTY OF KITSAP, STATE OF WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF SR 3, MP 35.84 to MP 36.76, SINCLAIR INLET TO ARSENAL WAY
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton is the record owner of
Lots 1, 2 and 3, EXCEPT the South 100 feet of said Lot 3, Block 9,
Bremerton HeiEhts, as per plat thereof recorded in Volume 3 of Plats on
Page 41, TOGETHER With that portion of vacated '~" Street which would
attach to said premises by operation of law; Situate in Kitsap County,
Washington. AND,
WHEREAS, in the improvement of SR 3, Sinclair Inlet to Arsenal Way by the State
of Washington, Department of Highways, it is necessary and advisable for the State
of Washington to acquire title to the property described above. AND,
HHEREAS, after due consideration by the Council of the City of Bremerton, it
appears to said Council that it will be in the best interest of both the City
of Bremerton and the State of Washington that said Council convey said Lots
1, 2 and 3, described above, for a consideration of THIRTY SEVEN ~NDRED AND
FIFEY .................................. ($3,750.00) ....... ---DOLLARS.
N(~ THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved by the Council of the Cit~ of Bremerton,
that the City of Bremerton, in accordance with R.C.W. 47.12.040 and through
its Mayor and City Clerk execute said Quit Claim Deed and deliver said Deed
to the State of Washington.
