benefits for employees fully accepting said increase
and other benefits.
WHEREAS the City of Bremerton has determinsd through Budget
Hearings and analysis of previous City of Bremerton receipts end
disbursements that a 2% salary increase and other benefits for
the year 1972 for all city employees will be in keeping with the
projected income and expenses for the City of Bremerton end with
the present overall economic conditions in the community end
WHEREAS the City of Bremerton is desirous of effecting said
salary increase and other benefits for all those employees not
under contract and those employees represented by bargaining units
who accept the proposed salary increase and other benefits as their
complete salary increase for the year 1972 and
WHEREAS certain employees and bargaining units presently
do not find the proposed saiary increase and other benefits acceptabie,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 8Y THE CITY OF 8REMERTON that
the City Councii of the City of Bremerton shaII effect a 2% salary
increase and other benefits for all city empIoyees not under union
contrect and those empioyees represented by bargaining units who
have accepted said saiary increase and other benefits es the highest
saIary increase and other benefits ressonabiy aIIcwabie by the
City of 8remerton at the present time and under present economic
conditions.
PASSED 8Y the City Councii Of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this I3th day of January, i972.
