A RESOLUTION accepting offer for sale of
storm drainage pipe line and authorizing
procedures to complete transfer of said
pipe line.
WHEREAS, Tucci & Sons, Inc., of Tacoma, a Washington
corporation, is the owner of a storm sewer pipe line lying in
and adjacent to the City of Bremerton in an area commonly known
as Clare's Marsh, and
WHEREAS, said pipe line drains Clare's Marsh and surrounding
area in the City of Bremerton, and
WHEREAS, said storm drainage pipe line has been offerred
for sale totthe City of Bremerton for $15,000.00, and
WHEREAS, an independent, licensed construction company
has appraised said pipe line on behalf of the City at a value
substantially in excess of $15,000.00, and
WHEREAS, funds have been budgeted previously for the purpose
of buying or procuring a storm drainage system in the Clare's
Marsh area. Now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the City of Bremerton accepts the offer to purchase said
storm drainage pipe line from Tucci & Sons, Inc. at a cost of
$15,000.00 and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Bremerton
hereby are authorized to perform such procedures as are necessary
to complete the sale and transfer of title of said storm drainage
pipe line to the City of Bremerton.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such adoption this 29th day of November, 1972.
