A RESOLUTION establishing a codified numbering system
for personnel, vehicles and radio units of local governmental
agencies.
WHEREAS, the City has no uniform numbering system to
coordinate record keeping and communications between numerous
local governmental agencies.
WHEREAS, the implication of this system will eliminate
confusion resulting from duplication caused by the use of similar
numbering systems for personnel, vehicles and radio units.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
THAT a codified numbering system governing personnel,
vehicles and radio units is hereby established and adopted as
follows:
AGENCY CLASSIFICATION
Personnel Vehicle Radio
Bremerton Police Dept. 400 - 599 1400 - 14-99 1500 - 1599
Bremerton Fire Dept. 600 - 799 1600 - 1699 1700 - 1799
option: 1 - 99
Ail other city agencies
1100 - 1299 100 - 399 2100 - 2199
Where addi~tional classifications or larger number blocks for existing
classifications are needed, the system may be expanded as follows:
