A Resolution changing the name of the
Warren Avenue Playfield to the Kiwanis
Playfield.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has been requested by the Kiwanis
Club of Bremerton to change the name of the Warren Avenue Playfield to
Kiwanis Playfield; and,
WHEREAS, the Bremerton Kiwanis Club, under supervision of Otto Voll,
Chairman of the Bremerton Kiwanis Underprivileged Child Committee,
secured and developed this particular area for a children's playfield; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that such change be made:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON that the
Bremerton City Council does hereby change the name of the Warren Avenue
Playfield to the Kiwanis Playfield.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the
Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 12th day of December, 1973.
