A RESOLUTION requesting dedication by
Kitsap County of right-of-way for
improvements on portion of Sheridan
Road from Lebo Boulevard to Wheaton Way.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton plans improvement under
its Six Year Construction Program on Sheridan Road from Lebo
Boulevard to Wheaton Way, and
WHEREAS, the westerly part of the right-of-way
is owned one-half by the County of Kitsap and one-half by
the City of Bremerton, being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Government Lot 2,
Section 11, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M.;
thence South 89°36'00" East, 206 feet; thence South
0°06'17'' East, 309.49 feet to the true point of be-
ginning, said true point of beginning being on the
northerly margin of Sheridan Road; thence continuing
South 0°06'17" East 28.03 feet to the centerline of
Sheridan Road as shown on the Plat of Sheridan Park;
thence southerly along said centerline of Sheridan
Road South 45°24'50'' West and its extension to the
Government Meander Line; thence northwesterly along
the meander line to the northerly right-of-way of
Sheridan Road extended; thence northeasterly along
the northerly right-of-way of Sheridan Road to the
true point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
BREMERTON:
That the City Council of the City of Bremerton
does hereby make request for dedication by Kitsap County
for right-of-way on portion of Sheridan Road from Lebo
Boulevard to Wheaton Way in order that improvements can
be made.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage this 24TH day of October, 1973.
