A RESOLUTION setting date of hearing
on vacation application for portion
of Searle Street and Graham Way.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton intends to consider
the vaction for right of way of a portion of Searle Street
and Graham Way lying within the following described real
property: (said vacation requested by Bremerton Housing
Authority)
That portion of the south half of the southeast
quarter of Section 16, Township 24 North, Range 1
East, W.M. in Kitsap County, Washington, described
as follows: BEGINNING at a point which is south
703.39 feet and West 444.06 feet from the southeast
corner of said section; thence North 0°55'27'' East
127.71 feet; thence South 64°39'10" East 82.03 feet;
thence North 03°13'04" West 79.00 feet; thence
North 66°04'33" West 856.27 feet; thence North
01°51'05'' East 426.62 feet to the northeasterly
right-of-way line of SR3, Arsenal Way to Chico, the
center line of which is recorded in Volume "A" of
Highway Plats, page 40, records of said county, and
the true point of beginning; thence continuing North
01°51'05" East 68.64 feet; thence North 12°56'47" East
178.54 feet; thence North 47°36'57" West 134.69 feet;
thence North 41019'26" East 15.16 feet; thence North
42o19'36" East 62.64 feet; thence North 47°40'24''
West 50.00 feet; thence South 42°19'36" West 62.64 feet;
thence south 39°18'01" West 29.62 feet; thence north
47°51'45'' West 392.12 feet; thence north 81°15'14"
west 52.61 feet; thence South 32°22'40'' West 30.75
feet; thence North 57°37'20" West 186.15 feet; thence
North 55°34'51" West 338.21 feet to the point of
curve of a curve to the right having a radius of
1527.10 feet; thence northwesterly along the arc of
said curve 36.17 feet to the northeasterly right-of-
way line of said SR3 at a point which bears North
45~29'24" West from the true point of beginning;
thence South 45~29'24'' East along said right-of-way
line 850.34 feet; thence South 76~53'00'' East 64.40
feet; thence South 29°31'48'' East 51.66 feet; thence
south 13o07'00" West 22.66 feet to the northeasterly
right-of-way line of said SR3 at a point which bears
North 45029'24" West from the true point of beginning;
thence South 45°29'24" East along said right-of-way
line 334.57 feet to the true point of beginning.
WHEREAS, City Ordinance No. 2334 requires that
a hearing on petition to vacate portions of City property
shall be held by the City Council on a date set by the City
Council of the City of Bremerton not more than sixty days (60)
nor less than twenty days (20) after the date of adoption of
said resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
BREMERTON:
That the City Council of the City of Bremerton
shall hold a hearing on the resolution to vacate a portion of
Searle Street and Graham Way lying within the above described
property and that said hearing shall be held before the City
Council of the City of Bremerton on the 31st day of October,
1973, at 10:00 A.M. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall,
Bremerton, Washington; and it is further
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the City Clerk shall post notice for twenty (20) days of the
filing and hearing of said petition to vacate, said notice to
be posted on the above described property and in three (3)
conspicuous public places.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentica-
tion of such passage this 3rd day of October, 1973.
