A RESOLUTION setting date of hearing
for the R. L. Bender Street Vacation
Application for September 12, 1973
at 10:00 a.m.
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton intends to consider
the vacation of that right of way described as follows:
Part of Marlow Avenue from North boundary
of East 11th Street to South boundary of
East 14th St. and abutting lots 1, 2 and
Block 2, Naval Addition to Decatur, Section
13, Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
Kitsap County, Washington.
WHEREAS, City Ordinance No. 2334 requires that
a hearing on petition to vacate portions of City property
shall be held by the City Council on a date set by the City
Council of the City of Bremerton, not more than sixty days
(60) nor Less than twenty days (20) after the date of
adoption of said resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
BREMERTON:
That the City Council of the City of Bremerton
shall holdc a hearing on the resolution to vacate the above-
described property and that said hearing shall be held before
the City Council of the City of Bremerton on the
of September, 1973, at 10:00 a.m. at the Council Chambers
in the City Hall Bremerton, Washington: and it is Further
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
that the City Clerk shall post notice For twenty (20) ,days
of the filing and hearing of said petition to vacate, said
notice tc be posted on the above described property and in
three (3) conspicuous public places.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 8th of August,
1973.
