A RESOLUTION regarding joint application
with Kitsap County to the Department of
Ecology of the State of Washington for
Complex Facility Planning Funds. (Sinclair Inlet)
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton recognizes its
continuing responsibility in the interest of public health,
safety and welfare to develop an adequate system of waste
water collection, treatment and disposal within its juris-
diction; And
WHEREAS, the Department of Ecology has designated
the boundaries of the Sinclair Inlet Complex Facilities
Planning Area in accordance with guidelines established by
the Environmental Protection Agency; And
WHEREAS, the sanitary sewer service area of the City
of Bremerton lies within said Sinclair Inlet Complex Facilities
Planning Area; And
WHEREAS, the Department of Ecology of the State of
Washington has matching funds allocated for developing the
Complex Facilities Plan for the planning area:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BREMERTON:
That the City of Bremerton enter into an agreement with
Kitsap County for the purposes of making joint application to
the Department of Ecology of the state of Washington for the
grant of Complex Facility Planning Funds covering and limited
to the Sinclair Inlet Complex Facility Planning Area.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authenti-
cation of such passage this 31st day of July, 1974.
