A RESOLUTION declaring the intention of the
City of Bremerton to negotiate for certain real
property owned by the City of Bremerton for
certain real property owned by the State of
Washington, said exchange being for the purpose
of protecting the City's Watershed and rescinding
Resolution 1527.
WHEREAS, The City of Bremerton is the owner of the
following described property:
E 1/2 SW 1/4, N 1/2 NW 1/4 SW 1/4, SW 1/4 SW 1/4
of Section 8 Township 24 North Range 1 West
W 1/2 NW 1/4 NE 1/4, of Section 17 Township 24
North Range 1 West
NE 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 21 Township 24 North
Range 1 West
W 1/2 SW 1/4 of Section 20 Township 24 North
Range 1 West
Total Area 280 Acres
WttEREAS, the State of Washington is the owner of the
following described property:
SE 1/4 SW 1/4, NE 1/4 SE 1/4, S 1/2 SE 1/4 of
Section 14 Township 24 North; Range 1 West
NE 1/4 NE 1/4, SW 1/4 SE 1/4 of Section 22 Township
24 North Range 1 West
NW 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 23 Township 24 North
Range 1 West
Total Area 280 Acres
and,
WHEREAS, the above described State property is
situated in the drainage basin of the City's Watershed and
WHEREAS, the above described City property is
situated outside the drainage basin of the City's Watershed, and
WHEREAS, it may be for public benefit to acquire the

entire drainage basin of the Watershed so as to prevent
future obstruction or impairment of the City's water supply,
now, therefore,
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BREMERTON
1. Negotiate for the exchange of the following
described property of the City of Bremerton:
E 1/2 SW 1/4, N 1/2 NW 1/4 SW 1/4, SW 1/4 SW 1/4 of
Section 8 Township 24 North
W 1/2 NW 1/4 NE 1/4, of Section 17 Township 24 North
Range 1 West
NE 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 21 Township 24 North
Range 1 West
W 1/2 SW 1/4 of Section 20 Township 24 North
Range 1 West
Total Area 280 Acres
for the following described property of the State
of Washington:
SE 1/4 SW 1/4, NE 1/4 SE 1/4, S 1/2 SE 1/4 of
Section 14 Township 24 North Range 1 West
NE 1/4 NE 1/4, SW 1/4 SE 1/4 of Section 22 Township
24 North Range 1 West
NW 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 23 Township 24 North
Range 1 West
Total Area 280 Acres
on terms subject to future acceptance by both parties.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton
this 10th day of April, 1974, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such adoption.
