WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bremerton
declared the real property legally described as follows:
That portion of Lots 1 & 2, Poindexter's First
Addition of the City of Bremerton lying west of
the chain link fence as now exists plus that
portion of the following described property lying
west of the chain link fence as now exists:
That portion of Government Lot 2, Section 13,
Township 24 North, Range 1 East, W.M. described
as follows: Beginning 1,349 feet east and 109 feet
south of the northwest corner of said Government
Lot 2, thence east 185.38 feet to the west line of
Washington Avenue, thence north 21°39' west 63.47
feet, thence west 161.95 feet to the east line
of Highland Avenue, thence south along Highland
Avenue 59 feet to the point of beginning. Except
the west 80 feet.
to be surplus property by Resolution No. 1583; and
WHEREAS, the above described property was appraised
by two competent disinterested appraisers and upset price was
set at $750.00, and
WHEREAS, a call for bids was made and only one bid
was received in the amount of $750.00 from Ronald Asleson,
NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved that a deed to the
property be issued to Ronald Asleson from the City upon receipt
from him of $750.00 cash.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such adoption this 10th day of April, 1974.
