WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has applied for Federal Assistance
to construct of equip a community theatre and recreation facility at Bremerton,
Washington; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated total project cost is $191,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bremerton has received an offer from the U. S.
Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, of Grant not to
exceed 80 percent of the actual cost of the project as determined by the
Government; and,
WHEREAS, the offer of GPant is for an amount not to exceed $152,800.00;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council must designate one person as the official
authorized to sign Offer of Grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BREMERTON:
That the Grant Offer of the U. S. Department of Commerce, Economic
Development Administration, is accepted; and
That Glenn K. Jarstad, Mayor, is designated and authorized to sign
the Grant Offer for the City of Bremerton.
