RESOLUTION NO. 1671
A Resolution imposing a ceiling on sal-
aries of city employees for the year
1976, and rescinding Resolution No. 1627.
WHEREAS, this City Council by Resolution No. 1622 resolved to give
its full support for the imposition of wage controls, and
WHEREAS, the negotiations for salary increases in 1976 present us
with the opportunity to exercise restraint in wage increases;
NOW, THE. REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BREMERTON that a ceiling of $22,000.00 shall be set on the salary paid to any
city employee for the calendar year 1976) and Res. No. 1627 be rescinded.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 31st day of December, 1975.
